Who owns your font

You do. It's your handwriting. We made a file out of it.

We claim no ownership of your handwriting or of the font made from it, and we don't license it to anyone else.

What that means practically

- Install it anywhere. On as many of your own devices as you like, with no activation, no seat count and no check-in. - Embed it in documents. PDFs, ebooks, design files. Your font is marked as freely embeddable, which means a PDF you send someone displays in your hand even though they don't have the font. Some commercial fonts forbid this. Yours doesn't. - Keep it forever. A downloaded font file doesn't expire and doesn't stop working, including if you cancel — more. - Delete us. If you close your account, your font files on your own computer are unaffected.

The two limits

Free fonts are personal use. Commercial use needs Pro — Using your font commercially.

Don't sell the font file itself. You can sell what you make with your font. You can't sell or give away the font as a font — bundled, on a marketplace, or as a download. That's the one thing reserved, and it's there so nobody can take a font we helped make and resell it.

Our side

We keep the right to run the service, and to show fonts you deliberately choose to share publicly. We don't use your handwriting to build anything else — Is my handwriting private.

The binding text is the Font License, published in full before launch.
