Deleting your account and data

Delete your account from account settings. Your writing, your fonts and your account details go with it.

What gets removed

• Every stroke you wrote
• Every font and saved version made from it
• Your account and sign-in details

It is not a soft delete or a long hide. Once it is gone we cannot bring it back, so download anything you want to keep first.

What is not affected

Font files already on your computer. Those are ordinary files sitting on your machine, and nothing we do reaches them. They stay installed and keep working.

Documents you made with them are unaffected, as is any PDF you exported with the font embedded.

Fonts you deliberately shared may already be with the people you sent them to. Deleting your account does not reach into their copies.

That is the same principle as everywhere else here: what you made is yours. Who owns your font.

Before you delete

Download the fonts you care about. Once the writing is gone we cannot rebuild them, because the strokes were the source.

Deleting one font rather than everything

If you only want rid of a single font, delete that font from your dashboard and keep your account. Your fonts.

If you cannot reach the setting

Tell us from the email address on the account and we will handle it. We will confirm before anything is removed.
