My font didn't build

Read the message first. When making a font fails we say why, and the reason is usually one of these.

Not enough letters yet

A font needs something to be made from. If almost nothing is in your hand, there is nothing to assemble. Write a few letters and try again — What's missing.

You have hit a daily limit

Free accounts can make a font a limited number of times per day, which resets. It exists to stop abuse rather than to hurry you. Pro removes it — see the pricing page.

If you are iterating hard on a first font and the limit pinches, tell us; that feedback is useful.

One letter could not be used

Occasionally a single letter is unusable — an empty capture, or strokes that did not resolve into a shape. The build skips it and warns rather than failing silently, so the rest of your font still gets made.

Find the letter in the Letters room and write it again. One letter came out wrong.

It seemed to work but nothing downloaded

That is a different problem — The download didn't work.

It failed with no clear reason

Try once more; a genuinely transient failure will pass. If it fails twice, tell us the font name and, if there was one, the exact message. Nothing is lost in the meantime — your writing is stored separately from any font you make, so a failed build never costs you letters.
