Installing on Android

Android is the awkward one, and it is worth saying plainly: **there is no reliable system-wide font install on Android** without rooting the device or using a manufacturer-specific tool.

That is Android, not your font. The file is a perfectly ordinary font.

What does work

Apps that take custom fonts. Several design and note apps let you load a font file from storage and use it inside that app — Canva, some drawing apps, and various document editors. Look for a font picker with an "add" or "upload" option.

Samsung devices are the exception. Samsung phones and tablets accept custom fonts through their own theming system, though it usually expects fonts packaged as an app, which needs a third-party tool. Some people do this happily; most find it more trouble than it is worth.

What we would suggest instead

Write on Android, install elsewhere. An Android tablet with a stylus is a good writing surface — that part works well. Sign in on a computer afterwards and install there, where fonts work normally. Windows · Mac

Your fonts follow your account rather than the device, so there is nothing to transfer. Your account and signing in.

Or use an image. For something you only want to post or send, an image of your text carries your handwriting anywhere, with no install at all.

Downloading it

Downloading works normally — the file lands in your Downloads folder in the Files app. Getting it into a font list is the part Android does not offer.
